“ Me and my wife drove through the area on our way home from camping, Young is beautiful and The Pleasing Palate was the prefect pit stop for lunch. I got the grilled chicken bacon avocado sandwich. It was great, probably the best I've ever had. The portions were good and was reasonably priced. Next time I'm in the area I'll be getting another. ”
“ Found this gem during our cross country trip that had us passing through the area. My salad was extremely fresh and the homemade dressing was the perfect addition. Wish we could take this place everywhere we go on our trip! The meal was delicious, made to order, and the company (Marla & Harley) were unmatched. Would 100% recommend to anyone going through the area to stop at the Pleasing Palate! ”
“ This place is awesome. We stopped in for lunch a few days ago (8 of us). Burgers were flavorful and the fries were hot. Chicken tenders were large and moist. Grilled cheese looked great with a lot of cheese. Gotta mention that we were lucky enough to get the last order of bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. If you stop by here to eat, you MUST get these. Best I’ve had anywhere. Service was great and prices more than reasonable for the high quality of food. ”
“ Love the small town atmosphere. Ate there 2 times on an elk hunt. Loved it. ”
“ My biscuits and gravy were not that desirable, but my wife's sandwich was incredible. The service is outstanding! We highly recommend anyone passing through, give Marla a try!!! ”
“ This place was really nice and very clean. Of course, it's in the middle of nowhere, so pricing was a little high. The food was very homemade and tasty. The service was perfect. Marla was the cook and server, so it wasn't fast like the city. I was in Arizona to visit my sister, It gave us time to chit chat and visit. Overall, it was nice, and we will be back. ”
“ Great comfort food. Love the fries! I had the chicken wrap and everything was super fresh. My Dad, who is an 80 something connoisseur of BLTs, says his was outstanding. Hubby had the French dip was delicious. The pista resistance was the dessert. Homemade butter cake with homemade apple topping from the owner's own apple trees. Comfortable atmosphere and congenial company. Come and enjoy! ”
